Round Lake, IL three season sunroom completed in 2022. These homeowners had a brick patio area they wanted to replace with a patio enclosure. We cut away the area of the brick patio where the new sunroom foundation would be and dug a trench. Trench foundations must be 48″ deep to pass local codes. In this case, we installed a wood foundation on top of the concrete trench to bring the whole sunroom level with the rest of the house.
The finished sunroom looks fantastic! These homeowners went with a gable roof three season. The peaked roof offers higher ceilings, which makes the room feel bigger. A three season sunroom will maintain temperature for the majority of the year without the need to heat or cool it.
