Northbrook, IL three season studio room, completed 2021. These homeowners had an old wooden screen room that had some issues. Some of the wooden supports were rotting, and they wanted to replace it with something more durable.
We started by tearing down the old sunroom and removing the concrete slab. After digging a trench, we poured new concrete for the foundation. Once the concrete was set, the walls can go up fairly quickly.
The finished sunroom features a studio style roof, and 3 inch thick insulation. The framing is aluminum, which means it is three season sunroom. Three seasons rooms remain comfortable during the majority of the year, generally spring, summer and fall.
