Downers Grove, IL Sunroom, completed in 2021. These homeowners wanted to enclose their patio. We tore out the old patio and poured fresh concrete. The slab for this sunroom is raised so there is no step down from the back porch. From there, we began putting in the framing.
The finished sunroom is a studio style, with a sloped roof. The room addition has its own internal electrical, and gutter system. It is insulated with 3″ thick foam, and is comfortable to use for most of the year. These homeowners are thrilled with their new addition!
