Mundelein, IL three season sunroom completed 2020. These homeowners started with a raised deck off their second floor. They wanted to add a sunroom addition, and replace the existing deck. We ended up adjusting the way the stairs lead up to the sunroom so the space below was more functional.
The completed sunroom is gorgeous! They went with a gable style roof to complement the rest of the house. The deck we build is actually larger than the previous one to better utilize the patio below. This sunroom is three season room, meaning it is meant to be comfortable for most of the year. The framing is made of aluminum, with 3″ insulation. The deck and stairs are a combination of treated wood and wood composite.
