Palatine, IL Master Bathroom Remodel, completed in 2021.These homeowners moved into a new home that had an outdated master bathroom. They wanted to remove the whirlpool jetted tub in favor of a standing shower only. Their vanity was also old and outdated, along with the tiled floor.
Before Pictures
For this remodel, we needed to reconfigure some of the plumbing in order to accommodate a standing shower. You’ll see in the photos below were we removed all the flooring in order to get to the plumbing. Notice that the original tub had no shower, so we needed to bring the plumbing up and replace the existing valve. Once the plumbing was adjusted, we could replace the flooring and mud in the shower base.

This new bathroom is a serious upgrade! The shower is a beautiful walk in with a rain head shower. These homeowners chose to go with three distinct tiles to create a focal point. Inside the shower, there is an inset shower niche at about waist height. We placed it here so that no one has to see all the bottles cluttering the space! They chose a double sink vanity with shaker style door fronts. The top is quartz, with under mounted sinks.
