Mount Prospect, IL master bathroom remodel, completed in 2020.These homeowners wanted to update their standing shower and soaker tub. In addition, they were looking to install anew vanity, toilet and flooring. We started by tearing out the old drop in tub, and building a new frame. The standing shower needed rebuild in order to replace the plumbing and make everything water tight. You’ll see in the pictures below where we upgraded the valve for both the tub and the shower.
The final bathroom turned out fantastic. These homeowners were thrilled to have a functional, well designed bathtub and standing shower. The shower now features a corner seat, along with an inset storage niche. The tub is a beautiful while acrylic drop in. Acrylic tubs have built in non-slip surfaces, and are easy to clean and maintain. Beautiful choices!
