Mount Prospect, IL first floor renovation from 2020. This kitchen had too many cabinets that made the room feel too small. In addition, the homeowner was looking for something lighter. She also wanted to update her solid surface to a more modern quartz countertop. We also removed a wall to open up the space, refaced the fire place, and refinished the wood flooring.
This kitchen remodel required the removal of a wall. We rewired the electrical, and updated all the plumbing. You’ll notice the location of the sink moved from the wall to the center island. We needed to relocate the plumbing through the basement to make this work.
The finished Mount Prospect, IL kitchen remodel is absolutely stunning! We transformed the peninsula into an island with additional seating. The white cabinets now extend all the way to the ceiling, and the fridge is in a new location. Removing the wall really opened up the space. The can lights offer needed illumination, while the pendant lights are a nice accent. The dark flooring really makes the white quartz countertops pop!
