Northbrook, IL kitchen remodel, completed in 2020. These homeowners had a small kitchen with an island. It had been remodeled once before during the early 90’s, however now the kitchen was out of date. They wanted to replace the cabinets and blue apron sink, along with the granite countertops.
Before Pictures
One key thing this kitchen needed was new electrical. We removed the drywall around the permitter of the room to access the electrical. We added new outlets and light fixtures before we installed all the cabinets. The pluming was also in need of a refresh.
In Progress Pictures
The finished kitchen is much more modern. These homeowners went with a white subway tile backsplash, a sleek grey quartz countertop, and 12″x18″ floor tiles. The white cabinets are 42″ tall and full overlay (no frame in between). We did some minor layout changes, such as adding a cabinet over the refrigerator.
