1. Illuminate the Area
Bathrooms are an accident-prone area, especially if they’re not properly illuminated. For extra bathroom safety, take care in choosing your lighting fixtures and make sure they are placed in a safe, strategic area. Your remodeler can help you identify the best placement for your bathroom lights.
2. Install Bathroom Safety Handlebars
Place grab bars in or near the bathtub, toilet and shower area. These will give your loved ones something to grab onto for stability or in case they lose their footing.
