Bensenville, IL bathroom remodel, completed 2021. These homeowners had an outdated full bathroom upstairs they wanted to update. We replaced the vanity and flooring, along with the tub and shower surround. They chose to replace their cast-iron tub with an acrylic jetted tub instead. We also replaced the old floor tile for someone more modern.

Any time we update the wet area of a bathroom, we update the plumbing so it is not only standard, but to ensure there will be no leaks. We make sure the new valve works before we close the wall. Once the plumbing is done, we waterproof the space. There are multiple ways this can be done, but in this case we used green board along with a vapor barrier.

The tub area turned out stunning. Note the inset shower niche for storage and the rain head shower. We added a linen closet in this bathroom for more storage that matched the vanity. The new vanity is a quartz top sink with an under mount sink. We also love the 12X18 floor tiles, which makes the room appear longer than it is.
