Streamwood, IL raised three season sunroom completed in 2022. These homeowners lived in a split level home, which means the kitchen is on the second floor and the first floor has no easy access outside. We dug a trench foundation for the support posts, and had to cut a new entryway into the kitchen upstairs.
To create the entry to the kitchen, we needed to remove the siding from the house and cut into the brick. Once that’s done, we cover the exposed brick a decorative pine wall. This is a three season room, meaning it remains at temperature the majority of the year. A space like this off a kitchen can be used as a dinning room, living area, or home office.
