Palatine, IL three season sunroom completed in 2022. These homeowners had an ideal back yard area for a sunroom addition. They hired us to remove the existing brick patio, pour a new foundation and install a new sunroom and concrete patio in it’s place.
After removing all the brook pavers, we flattened out the area for a new concrete foundation. It is critical the foundation is done correctly so it can support the rest of the sunroom. We dig down a trench for the sunroom frame to sit on, and then fill the rest of the area with a slab. Once the concrete cures, the sunroom walls and roof can go up quickly.
The final sunroom is a gable style roof so the inside has 10 foot ceilings at the heights points. We finished off the wall where the sunroom meets the house with treated cedar and continued it across the connecting beam for a cohesive look. The new stamped patio turned out amazing, finishing off the whole ascetic nicely!
