Arlington Heights, IL raised three season sunroom, completed in 2022. These homeowners had a back deck that the frequently used for entertaining. They hired us to remove the old deck and install a fantastic second story sunroom.
Before Sunroom Pictures
We needed to dig a 24″ foundation trench for the piers of the deck to sit in. Once the concrete sets, the framing and walls can go up quickly. After that, the roof and windows go up.
In Progress Sunroom Pictures
The final sunroom features a deck finished with compost wood. Under this raised sunroom is general storage space. The aluminum panels will keep out wind and rain from this area to keep all stored items dry. These homeowners went with a gable style roof so that they could maximize the ceiling height. The back wall to the sunroom is decorated with cedar for a smooth transition into the house.
