You’ll notice this bathroom has laundry hook ups in a closet across from the tub. The homeowner wanted to remove the hook ups and extend the vanity.
Whenever we remodel a bathroom, we replace all the plumbing in the wet area. We do this to ensure that the plumbing is tight, and we won’t have any surprise leaks. In addition, it is always easier to do a remodel when e can see what’s behind the wall. Plumbing is fairly standard in most modern bathrooms, however we work in a lot of older homes were the plumbing can be all over the place. We prefer to know what we are getting into and deal with any potential problems head on.
The shower area is complete with a recessed shower niche for storage. We replaced the bathtub and and all the tile for the surround. The new double vanity is exactly what these homeowners were looking for. The old laundry hookups are relocated, and now they have two skins for getting ready in the morning. This remodel turned out perfect!
