Naperville, IL shower remodel completed in 2023. These homeowners had an old shower that was in need of an update. They had an old metal pan that was rusting as well as moldy pink tile they wanted gone.
This particular shower had been in place quite a long time. When we demoed the area, we found significant rotting wood behind the walls and on the floor. We removed and replaced all the rotten wood and framed out the area for the new shower base and panels.
The finished shower turned our great! We framed in a standard shower base to save on cost and installed acrylic shower panels. The acrylic shower system is ideal for many people who want to have a finished shower without any grout lines. Acrylic will last a very long time and is easy to clean and maintain.
