Mount Prospect, IL small bathroom remodel, completed 2021. These homeowners started with an outdate bathroom with a fiberglass surround and tub. They wanted to replace the tub, surround, flooring, and vanity.
We replace the plumbing for all our shower remodels. Often the flooring needs to be reinforced as well, or some areas repaired due to water damage. The mosaic tile through the middle of the shower required a lot of skill to make sure the pattern was constant.
The finished bathroom features an acrylic tub, and a custom shower door. These homeowners chose a rain head shower, in a brushed nickel finish. We replaced the small flooring tile with tile that imitated the look of wood. We replaced the old vanity with a quartz top, double sink vanity.
