Mount Prospect, IL all season sunroom completed in 2022. These homeowners frequently used their back patio for entertaining and wanted to build a sunroom addition. We removed a good portion of the existing patio, installed a gable roof sunroom addition, and build a custom concrete patio.
The new sunroom required a trench style foundation. We have to cut away the existing concrete and dig a trench that the perimeter of the sunroom will sit on. Once the concrete sets the walls and roof can go up quickly. These homeowners planned to have a hot tub inside the sunroom, so we actually built the room around it.
The completed sunroom is fantastic! As mentioned, these homeowners wanted to install a hot tub inside their all season sunroom. They also went with the a pine accent wall and ceiling trim for a clean transition into the inside. The flooring is a a luxury vinyl plank that is perfect for an area with a potential to get wet from the hot tub.
