Crystal Lake, IL sunroom addition completed in 2022. These homeowners had an outdoor deck area they wanted to enclose with a patio. This particular sunroom require a trench foundation, along with a raised wooden foundation. We tore out the old deck and dug down for the trench. Once the foundation was done, the walls and roof can go up quickly.
The finished sunroom is a three season gable roof sunroom. A three season room will maintain temperature throughout most of the year without the need to be heated or cooled. We installed a decorative pine ceiling and back wall for a smooth transition from the sunroom to the rest of the house.
