Before Photos
Crystal Lake, IL bathroom remodel, completed in 2020. The client was looking to update her master bathroom so that she could have one long walk-in shower. These before photos show the soaker tub, which the homeowners rarely used. The awkward placement of the sink in the vanity made it hard to use the cabinet space. The old mirror was outdated, and the flooring had to go.
In Progress Photos
Crystal Lake, IL bathroom remodel work in progress photos. These photos were taken shortly after the shower area had been demoed. At this point we take the time to inspect the area to see if there are any concerns that need addressing before we can continue. The value area was in need of an update in order to accommodate the new shower. The yellow and red plastic stabs are spacers so that each tile can be placed evenly. After the tiles are set, we come in with grout to finish it all up.
After Photos
The finished product came out perfect! You’ll notice duel sprayers on either side of the shower. The shower features a center drain and two recessed shower niches. We utilized some of the space from where the standing shower was to add a linen closet. We moved the vanity sink over to one side so there is more usable counter space and so the cabinets were more functional for storage. The countertop is a white quartz with an under-mount porcelain sink. The new mirror has a gorgeous gold frame to offset the monochromatic black and white we have worked with so far. The secret MVP of this bathroom is that floor, though! The small hexagons go perfectly with the large tiles in the shower and lead your eye to the vanity. Overall this project was excellent from start to finish, and the homeowners are over the moon with the result!
