Generally we recommend at least one tub in the home, and they hired us to remodel the shower into a tub. The old shower is a one piece fiberglass system. A one piece is great for water proofing, but what happens over time is the house shifts and the system can crack from the pressure. To convert this shower into a tub, we had to adjust the position of the drain.
The new Schaumburg, IL bathtub shower combo is made of cast acrylic, making it the most durable bathtub available. Acrylic tubs are stain and scratch resistant, easy to clean, and retain heat well. These homeowners went with a modern subway tile and chrome finished trim.
