McHenry, IL Enclosed Patio, completed 2020. These homeowners wanted to enclose their back patio with a three season sunroom. We tore out their existing concert patio, and poured new foundation. Then, we built custom wooden decking to complement the new gable room addition.
After we tear out the old deck, we dig a trench for the new concrete. For this project, we also poured concrete for the deck posts. Our carpenters built a custom deck while we waited for the custom sunroom to arrive at our warehouse. We made sure to keep the concrete covered to avoid it getting unnecessarily wet before the room could be constructed.
When we install a sunroom with a gable roof, the entire room is complete except for the upper glass. This glass has to be ordered custom after the room is built to ensure a proper fit. We will cover this area with foam board while we wait for the glass to arrive. Overall, a perfect sunroom!
