Lake Zurich, IL three season room, completed in 2019. These homeowners had an existing three season room that was old and outdated. We removed the old sunroom, poured new concrete foundation and built a new three season room in it’s place.
After we tear down the old sunroom, we dig a trench for the foundation. This sunroom has a full slap foundation, which is poured after the trench is done. Once the concrete sets, we can construct the room quickly. These customers chose to go with skylights in their room, which we later outlined with trim.
The final sunroom looks fantastic! The frame of this sunroom is made of aluminum filled with 3″ thick insulation. This room will remain comfortable for the majority of the year without any extra heating or cooling necessary. They went with a low profile studio roof to match the rest of the house.
