Elk Grove Village, IL three season gable sunroom, completed 2019. These homeowners started with a studio style screen room and a wooden deck. They wanted to remove the old sunroom and install a new gable roof sunroom that would better match the esthetic of the roof and give the space more flexibility during colder months.
After the demo, we built a new wooden foundation for the sunroom to sit on. Once the foundation is finished, the framing can go up quickly. The last piece that takes some time to get is the custom gable windows on top. You’ll see that we cover these openings until the custom windows arrive. We replaced the sliding glass door inside, and added on a deck to complete the built.
The finished sunroom looks great! These owners were thrilled to have the addition space usable during the colder months.
