Arlington Heights, IL Kitchen Remodel completed in 2020. Our client decided to celebrate her retirement with a new kitchen! We were happy to help. Her old kitchen had classic 80’s era cream cabinets with wood accents. Furthermore, her countertop was a laminate formica, which over time became difficult to clean as the finish wore off. She was also lacking countertop space, which we found a good solution to in the next photos.

After that, we went to work updating the electrical, which was out of code. The client had the flooring done by another company, so we took care to cover it to avoid any scratching. Once the electrical was finished, we moved on to the plumbing and cabinet installation.
The final product came out amazing! We love the unique cabinet and countertop choice. We installed a quartzite countertop, which is a man-made hybrid of both granite and quartz. The backsplash is a glass tile mosaic that compliments the countertops well. In addition, we added an island to create needed storage and prep space. Check out that microwave drawer! No need to pull down hot plates of food above your head. We loved working on this funky kitchen!
