Arlington Heights, IL home remodel, completed in 2021. These homeowners were looking to remodel their whole first floor. The spaces included were the kitchen, laundry room, and all the flooring. This kitchen needed to be reconfigured so that the space was more usable. You’ll see in the before photos that they used to have a separate dinning area. We removed that and instead put in an island.
The old kitchen soffits were removed in place of cabinets that go straight to the ceiling. We replaced the floor with luxury vinyl plank, which stretches throughout the first floor. The backsplash goes all the way to the ceiling over the picture window. You will notice the dining area is gone, and instead replaced with an extra long island. The laundry room turned out great, with matching upper cabinets.
