Are you an experienced carpenter with a passion for crafting custom woodwork and constructing beautiful decks? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team! Envy Home Services is seeking a skilled Carpenter with a minimum of 2 years of experience in deck construction and the ability to read architectural drawings.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deck Construction: Build, repair, and maintain decks using a variety of wood types and materials according to project specifications and architectural drawings.
- Custom Woodworking: Create custom woodwork projects such as shiplap walls, cabinetry, and other specialty items, showcasing your craftsmanship and attention to detail.
- Reading Architectural Drawings: Interpret and follow architectural plans and blueprints to ensure accurate and precise construction.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and team members.
- Quality Control: Maintain high-quality work standards, ensuring all projects meet or exceed customer expectations.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in deck construction.
- Proficiency in reading architectural drawings and blueprints.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
