Aurora, IL walk in shower remodel with seat. These homeowners needed to replace their tub with a shower to make the area more accessible. They hire used to tear out the old tub and install a lower-profile shower with a folding seat.
These homeowners had a cast iron tub in their bathroom, which needed to be crushed down to be removed. We had to replace the part of the subfloor as well as widen the drain to accommodate the new walk in shower.
The finish shower looks fantastic! The homeowners went with a brown and cream pattern and a 4inch shower pan. We installed the folding shower seat into the studs to make it easily accessible. Of course, we installed a grab bar on the back wall to complete this accessible shower remodel!
