Kitchen Cabinetry

One of the most important aspects of a kitchen remodel is the cabinetry. There are a variety of different cabinets to choose from with each their own purpose. We will run you through a sample of different cabinets and how they can be used. How you use them is up to you!

Lazy Susan

A lazy susan (D) is a rotating cabinet usually found in the corners of kitchens. These cabinets are often used to store spices and fill space where one cabinet meets the next. These cabinets can be multilayered or variations place them on countertops. You can replace these with stand alone ‘corner shelves’ if that suits your needs.

Kitchen Pantry Cabinet

Can be a large, medium, or smaller sized cabinet with many space saving interior accessories. Gives more of a custom feel to the kitchen layout with a matching design that flows into the other base and wall cabinetry.

Waste bin pull-out

These cabinets are how they sound. A waste bin, in a pull-out cabinet (C). These are great to save space and reduce unwanted garbage odor. You can pair it with a recycle pull-out bin as well.

Tilt-out Tray

The tilt out tray (f), a rectangular shaped utility cabinet, is used to store smaller items found in one’s kitchen. They are placed under the sink. Sponges, lighters, or scrubbers can usually be found in these cabinets.

Shaker Style Cabinets

Shaker cabinets (B) are actually named after the ‘Shakers,’ whom were gifted craftsmen and carpenters. They feature recessed panel doors, hinges on the inside, and light finishes. These cabinets are typically made of wood but aren’t limited to it.
